Happy new year

I'll be trying to upload some pictures while spending the new years weekend on Samsoe, but just to be sure: Happy new year and all best wishes for the upcoming year! Hopefully a year in which you can be aware of what your dreams are in this life, and that you might be able to make them reality. Hopefully I can meet all of you as much as possible during the next 365 days somewhere in this world.
In 2006 the most memorable event that happened in my opinion was the fact that Antwerp became "free" again. We start to develop into a direction which is constructive again iso destructive. A long way to go, lots of things need to be improved, we are on the right track.
On the longterm, Uppsala was the best thing that happened in my life. It costed me some energy to get there, but the result was very successful. The plan is to go again in 2007. The past year I also changed job, and short to say but I feel very happy about that decission. ANA was nice, Star Alliance is very exciting. 2007 will be the year that we'll celibrate the 10th anniversary of the first true global alliance. Competition is getting closer, we'll just have to work a bit harder to stay ahead of them.
2006 was also the year that my grandmother fell ill, and became much older. I never had hoped to have her at the christmas table again, but hey, look what happened. She was there, very active and as usual very demanding. She'll be 90 years old in 3 weeks from now.
2007 should be the year of less changes, at least less changes that I will take myself, but more the year of going deeper. I want to deepen the changes I made this year. Check on as much levels as possible if the direction heading for is the right one. Build out more my professional network, take more true time for friends, restart my beloved sports swimming, do some works in our house to make it even better to live in, spend less time in my car, be even more cost- and environment-conscious and inform people around me of that.
Hopefully I can tell in 1 year that I made it.
