Samsoe The nature island

Samsoe is, although beeing here for the 3rd time, still a surprise. It is the place where nature still comes on the first place. Why, well because the inhabitants understand that nature brings them wealth and due the fact that an island is still less accessible than any other place,other people need to take a boat before they can do anything here. Due to the second reason the island became not only an island in a sea, but also an island within Denmark, a country like any other trying to develop industry. To the east you have the biggest industrial area Copenhagen and to the west in Jutland you have Aarhus the third biggest of Denmark. Up until now no one ever saw the intrest of Samsoe, and that allowed the people living here to sustain their way of living. Now with new techniques, the last few years politicians in Copenhagen have been building bridges to be able to connect certain industrial poles with eachother. The bridge between Malmoe and Copenhagen was not built for the interest of the tourist, but for being able to connect the 2 industrial poles of the 2 cities. That project was a huge success, so now there is another one that will connect Denmark in the south to Germany. This project will start in a few years, and when that one is finished, politicians need to prove that they able to do more.... So they are planning to connect Aarhus with Copenhagen. And if you've understood the above explained story, you feel the heat in your back. Right, they are planning to build a bridge between Aarhus and Copenhagen, with a stop in Samsoe.... Imagine that they would do that. I understand the economical importance, but even more the impact on this island where I'm typing these words. Too early to panic? Nope, if the local politicians won't be able to keep the national politicians away, this is to brought up to a higher level. It just can not be. To understand I hope these pictures will help you.
