Yesterday, on December 8th Sam and I travelled to Sweden to get the house of our second home. We were both very excited to while driving from Stockholm to Ockelbo, where the Swedish church was expecting us for the official handover. And as always in Sweden it went very easy. You can really buy a house in 1 week week if you want. For us it took 1,5 month, also very fast I think. So when we singned the documents, arranged everything with the bank, we got more information on the electricity, water, etc. And when we came out of the offices it started snowing! As if that was our welcomesnow! So we started driving uphill to Åmot and you can not imagine what a feeling gets over you when you know that you are on your way to the house. Frozen lakes on both sides of the road, snow, deep and darks woods and just a the odd car. The house is now covered in snow (15cms) and the lake is frozen. Sam and I started measuring, taking heaps of pictures and testing electricity and heating. After a few minutes the first neighbours dropped in and we started talking about why Belgian are buying the frosamlingshemmet in this town. Great people and I`m sure that we`ll having a good time with them.
