White christmas in Belgium?
Hmm, nope not in 2006. Again we are missing enough cold air and precipitation that could bring us the white stuff we like most on the 25th of December. At least that's what the current weather maps tell us. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if it would be a very mild Christmas, a bit spring like even.
My last white christmas I had was in 2000, when the weather changed from a warm autumn into some freezing cold late December winter exactly on the 25th of December.
We'll have to wait for at least another year here in Belgium, but also other parts of Europe will see the same. Automn and the first weeks of winter have been much warmer than normal, and there are no reasons to say that this will change quickly, unfortunately...
But than we just look again for 50th time to the movie White Christmas
