Realizing dreams

Some of you might know how much I long for snow during winter. It`s a leftover of my childhood and while some things disappear, this hasn`t at all. When I was around 8 or 9 years old I said: "OK if it doesn`t snow here in Belgium, let`s try to find a place where snow is more common." It was my mum who gave me a small book "how to learn Swedish" and it was this book where it all started. Since that moment it has been a dream to live in house surrounded by mountains of snow. Yesterday that house was found, and as from December 8th, Sam and I will be able to go there whenever we want. We bought the house yesterday and will be, next to the above described realised dream, also allow me to develop something else. While working every day behind a computer and while steering people and using your "brains", you feel that you want to really DO something. Paint for example, iso updating an excelsheet. Grow potatoes iso leading a meeting, etc. Now I can pull out the plug and disappear from the world.
Now it shouldn`t become only a house for Sam and me. Hopefully, many of you will, by visiting us, understand now that Sweden is not only cold and dark. Epecially in spring and summertime, the weather in this part of the world is much more stable and clear than what we`re used to.
But I`m not going to convince you of that by writing but by inviting.
Välkomna i Åmot!

Geniet ervan!
